I’m super excited to design the race materials for the 2015 City to the Sea race this year!

I took a lot of inspiration from in season styles I saw while shopping in San Diego. Lots of bright colors and palm trees which are perfect for the race! This is the design for the race poster this year, which will get adapted into post cards, leaflets, shirts, medals, coffee mugs and more!

We have been very busy lately with lots of fun December activities including a birthday, an anniversary, extended family Christmas and more!

The weekend after Thanksgiving (and Black Friday Christmas shopping), we visited Troop #2, the same troop Trevor belonged to, to buy a tree.

For Trevor’s birthday on the 8th, we took a trip to Yosemite. No snow yet but it was still beautiful! We saw a lot of waterfalls and deer, and stayed at the Tenaya Lodge.

Christmas Card Printable:

I created my own wreath design for a card this year and wanted to share it with you all! Click on the image below for a downloadable pdf that is set up to print on a 5″x7″ card.

One of the best things about this time of year is the decorations (and lots of glitter)!

One of my favorite things about holiday decorations is that there is usually lots of cheap materials available. I created this holiday arrangement out of materials I found at the Dollar Tree. I had burlap and white crinkle paper (paper also available at the Dollar Tree) on hand already to stuff the vase with, but the floral and vase only cost me about $6.

I had all these neat left over stuff from the Halloween party.

So I combined it with a few other things I had around the house already to create a fall/Thanksgiving display! The only thing I purchased additionally to complete the display was the pumpkin branch from Trader Joe’s for about $7. Really though this is just a placeholder until we get to the real decorating for CHRISTMAS! :)
